Workflow Permissions

Workflow permissions control who can perform certain actions in a workflow and are granted to users the same way as workspace permissions. They apply an additional layer of access control that pertains specifically to workflow and, unlike workspace permissions, can be user-defined and assigned to one or more workflow transitions according to specific needs.

The flowchart below illustrates how Fusion Manage applies workflow permissions and how they work together with workspace permissions. For example, there are cases where a user cannot perform a workspace action because it is contingent on the current state of workflow even though the user has the appropriate workspace permissions.
