The General Settings page lets you configure the global preferences for your Fusion Manage site. These settings apply across all workspaces and affect all users. This reference explains each setting and what it does.

Descriptor separator | Add a symbol to separate fields in the workspace descriptor. Symbols like hyphens or colons improve readability and organization. | |
Subject line | Customize the subject line for site summary emails. | |
Support | Help location | Enter the URL of a web page that provides help or support content. Users can access this page from the Help menu ![]() |

Security | Enforce two-factor authentication for all users | Require all users to use two-factor authentication (2FA) when logging in to your site. See Security and privacy settings. If some users already use a 2FA method outside their Autodesk profile, you should exclude them from this requirement. Go to Administration > Security > Users, edit their profile, and uncheck Enforce two-factor authentication. |
Allow users of your site to sign in and run multiple sessions simultaneously. | ||
Allowed client IDs | Grant secure access to external applications by adding their Autodesk Platform Services (APS) client IDs to this list. | |
Display | Date format | Select the format used to display dates across your site (Y=year, M=month, D=day). Choose from the available options in the drop-down list. |
Exclude weekends from duration calculations | Determine whether weekends should be excluded from calculations in the Milestones tab. | |
Revision control | Always show working version | Toggle on to always display the working version of version-controlled workspace items. |
Revision number generation | Choose how revision numbers are generated for version-controlled items: Automatic or Manual. | |
Release in place | Enable to release revision-controlled items without increasing the version number or release letter. | |
Asynchronous item release | Enable to process item releases in the background, reducing wait time and improving performance when releasing many items at once. | |
Maximum characters | Set the maximum number of characters allowed in the BOM Quantity field, including the decimal point and decimal places (choose a value between 1 and 20). | |
Maximum decimals | Set the maximum number of decimals allowed in the BOM Quantity field (choose a value between 1 and 10). | |
Hide trailing zeros | Show or hide trailing zeros in the BOM Quantity field. For example, 2.10500 is shown as 2.105 when this setting is enabled. | |
Display assignee | Show the Assignee column in your project management workspace to view and track who is responsible for each task. | |
List of allowed domains | Enter trusted domains that can access your site through cross-origin requests. Example, https://*.domain-a.com. Separate multiple entries by comma. |
