Create a Defined Picklist

Create a picklist of values you define.

Create the List

  1. On the Administration menu, mouse over System Configuration and click Picklist Manager.

  2. At the top of Picklist Manager, click Create Picklist.

    The New Picklist page opens with Defined Picklist as the selected Picklist Type (A list of values you define).

  3. Enter a unique name for the picklist (Picklist Name).

    Note The Picklist ID field is automatically populated with the name. If you want a different ID, overwrite the value.

  4. Optionally enter a description (Picklist Description)

Add Values and Save

  1. To add the first value to the list, enter it in the blank text field below Picklist Values.

  2. To add the next value, click Add New Value and enter the value in the new blank text field.

  3. Continue adding values in the same way until the list is complete.

    Note You can delete a value any time by clicking its Delete delete icon.

  4. Click Save.
