Manage engineering project attachments

Note:

For users with Fusion connected sites, references to the 'Items' workspace should be the 'Components' workspace.

The Files tab contains all documentation associated with the project. If the project template contains documents, these are automatically brought into the engineering project in the Related Attachments section.

You may want to attach additional files to the project, such as documents that provide additional information about the project, forms that have been completed during the project, or customer requirements.

Add an attachment

  1. From the Engineering Project workspace, open the project you want to attach files to.
  2. From the Files tab, click Upload.
  3. Locate the file you want to upload and click Open.
  4. In the Upload window, specify a name, description, and folder for the file.
  5. Click Upload.

Work with project attachments

Once a file is uploaded, you may work with it in a number of ways.
