Complete a milestone activity

Note:

For users with Fusion connected sites, references to the 'Items' workspace should be the 'Components' workspace.

When you complete a milestone activity, all activities within the milestone are also completed regardless of what state they were in. This is an efficient way to quickly wrap up an entire milestone without having to complete each task one by one.

To close a milestone:

Open the milestone activity.
From the Workflow tab, click the appropriate Finish transition.
Optionally enter a comment, then click Confirm.

The milestone and its sub-activities are all moved to the Completed state.

Note: Depending on the option chosen for the When Milestones Finish setting, this may automatically request the next batch of activities to start. See Create an engineering project template for a full list of the different options.
