BOM Compare Markup
When comparing items, the BOM is marked up to indicate the differences between the two items.
Note: Changes to custom BOM properties that are not included in the current BOM view are not shown in the comparison. Be sure to include the custom properties you want to compare in your BOM view.
Text Markup
The following text markup is used to identify differences between items:
Bold Blue Data in the open item that is either not in the item to which it is being compared or is different from the item being compared.
Strikethrough Red Data in the item being compared that is not in the open item or is different in the open item.
Compare Status Icons
The following status icons indicate differences in the comparison:
Added An item is only in the open BOM and not in the BOM against which it is being compared.
Removed An item is only in the BOM being compared against and not in the open BOM.
Changed An item in the BOM has changed. The changes may not be visible on-screen.- Indirect Change An item has not changed but at least one of its children has.
