Quick Create a Managed Item
Use the Actions menu (
) to link an open item to an item in a revisioning workspace. The linked item is managed by the item in the revisioning workspace and is listed on the affected items tab for the managing item.
Note: Quick Create is only available if your administrator configured a revisioning workspace.
Open the item to link to a revisioning workspace.
In the item header, click Actions (
).The available revisioning workspaces are listed below Quick Create in the Actions menu. Select Quick Create in and a revisioning workspace.
In the Quick Create dialog, enter the information required for creating the linked item.
Click Save.
- Click Save and Manage to create the revisioning item and link it to the open item. You are prompted to enter additional information for managing the item.
- Click Save and Close to create the revisioning item and link it to the open item. You are returned to the open item.
