Forma Estimate is a tool in the Preconstruction product.

Navigate to Preconstruction using the product picker within Autodesk Forma. In Preconstruction, open Forma Estimate by clicking Estimate in the left navigation bar.

There are two tabs in the Estimate tool: Estimate and Cost Markups.

Estimate Tab

The Estimate tab, which shows the estimate table, opens by default when opening Estimate from the left navigation in Preconstruction.

The estimate table contains the record of your estimate data. The estimate is made up of rows of line items that each represent a specific resource required for a project, along with their individual costs. Each column represents data attributes that belong to a line item. Learn more about managing estimate line items.

Cost Markups Tab

The second tab, Cost Markups, is where you can manage cost markups for your estimate.

Cost markups are lump sums or percentage-based added costs applied on top of an estimate total or selected parts of an estimate that enable you to more accurately determine profit margins. Learn more about working with cost markups in Estimate.
