Export a System from Revit to React Fluids

Select a system to analyze in React Fluids using one of the following ways:

Export a System That You Select in the Model View in Revit

  1. Open or create a model with Revit.
  2. Select a system that you want to analyze by clicking one element of the system.

Selecting elements of several systems in Revit selects these systems.

  3. In the Analyze tab, click React Fluids.
  4. In the System Grouping dialog, select if you want React Fluids to group connected systems into flow networks.

The selected systems open in React Fluids. With the systems, you have exported project data about system settings, boundary conditions, elements, and equipment items from a Revit project.

Export a System That You Select from the List

  1. Open or create a model with Revit.
  2. In the Analyze tab, click React Fluids.
  3. In the Load system dialog:
    • Select a system or systems that you want to analyze. To select all systems, select the check box next to Name.
    • Select Group connected systems if you want React Fluids to group connected systems into flow networks.
    • Click OK.

The selected systems open in React Fluids. With the systems, you have exported project data about system settings, boundary conditions, elements, and equipment items from a Revit project.

About Grouping Connected Systems

If you allow React Fluids to group systems, it detects systems physically connected in Revit (even if they are in separate systems), and groups them as a network for simulation.

In the Browser, grouped systems are referred to as networks.
