Manipulate the Model with the Mouse Wheel

Use the following mouse click and key combinations to rotate, zoom or pan the model.

To Zoom in or out

  1. Click on the model to activate the model pane.
  2. Scroll the mouse wheel forwards to zoom in or backwards to zoom out.

To Pan the Model

  1. Click on the model to activate the model pane.
  2. Click and hold the mouse wheel. The cursor changes to the Pan Pan cursor.
  3. Move the cursor around the screen to reposition the model.
  4. Release the button on the mouse to disable the Pan tool.

To Rotate the model

  1. Click on the model to activate the model pane.
  2. Hold the SHIFT key down while clicking and holding the mouse wheel. The cursor changes to the Orbit Rotate cursor.
  3. Drag the cursor to rotate the model.
