Dialog Elements
The dialog contains the list of loads cases in the form of a table.
- No.
- Load case number. When you add a load case, the consecutive number displays in the No. column. You can modify it.
- Case name
- Name of a load case. You can specify a custom name or leave an automatic name.
- Nature
- The available load natures depend on the design codes that you select for your project. You can select natures such as: dead, live, wind, snow, accidental, or seismic.
- Subnature
- Subnatures are available only for some of the load natures, and depend on the codes you selected.
- Label
- Labels are created automatically and you cannot edit them. They are abbreviated names of load cases indicating their natures. For example, LL1 is a label of the first live load case in the project.
- +
- Click
+ to add a load case. If the Load Case dialog contains only an automatic self-weight load case, clicking
+ adds a dead load case with a consecutive number. When you add next load cases, cells with their parameters are populated based on the last load case.
- Delete
- The button is active after you select one or more load cases. Click it to delete load cases.
