Add a Calculation Model

1. Model Structural Elements Panel Calculation Model.

   Alternatively, select a planar element (Model Structural Elements) such as a floor, a panel, or a wall, and then select Add New... from the Calculation Model drop-down menu.

2. In the Elastic Stiffness group of the Calculation Model dialog, specify if you want to generate finite elements for your model.
3. In the Rigid Connection of Nodes group, indicate if you want to add a stiffening diaphragm to your element.
4. In the Transfer of Loads group, specify how to calculate the distribution of loads.
5. Click Add, and then click Close.

   The new calculation model displays in the Calculation Model Type drop-down list.
