To Work with Rectangles

Rectangles are useful to create structural elements such as floors or panels.

To Draw a Two Point Rectangle

1. Click Model Structural elements, and then select Floor or Panel.
2. In the Mode panel, click Rectangle 2 Points.
3. Click in the drawing area to specify the first corner of the rectangle.
4. Move the cursor, and then click to specify the second corner of the rectangle.

Example

To Draw a Three Point Rectangle

1. Click Model Structural elements, and then select Floor or Panel.
2. In the Mode panel, click Rectangle 3 Points.
3. Click in the drawing area to specify the first corner of the rectangle.
4. Move the cursor, and then click to specify the direction and distance of the first side.
5. Move the cursor again, and then click to specify the distance of the adjacent side.
