Sketch a Wall

1. Click Model Structural Elements Wall.

   The Mode and Wall Properties panels display in the ribbon.

2. In the Wall Properties panel:
   • Select a type of calculation model for the wall, or select Add New to create a new one.
     Note: The default calculation models cannot be modified. If you want to use a custom calculation model, you need to create one.
   • Select a thickness, or select Add New to create a new one.

     Optionally, click if you want to edit the current thickness properties.

   • Enter a height for the wall.
3. In the Mode panel:
   • Select Up to set the first point clicked as the bottom of the wall.
   • Select Down to set the first point clicked as the top of the wall.
4. Click in the drawing area to specify the start point for your wall.
5. Move the cursor, and then click to specify the end of your wall.
   Tip: To draw walls continuously, select Chain in the Mode panel.
