Supports Dialog: Properties of Elastic Supports

Properties	Description
Label	Name of the support.
Constant elastic coef. at support nodes	Available if you selected a linear or planar support. If you select it, values of the elastic coefficients are constant at each node with the linear and planar supports. If you deselect it, the elastic coefficients are specified per unit of length (linear support) or per unit of surface (planar support).
Fixed directions	Select direction check boxes to specify blocked degrees of freedom: UX UY UZ RX RY RZ You cannot specify elastic coefficients for fixed directions (they equal zero). If you deselect a direction check box, the direction is released. Then you can enter a coefficient per unit of length to the edit field at the released direction (KX, KY, KZ, HX, HY, or HZ).
