Results Reactions.

Reactions are forces and moments developed at the supports of the structure.

Use this type of result to show the reactions and residual forces on the model in the global coordinate system.

Example of forces and moments on a simple structure

If you need to check the equilibrium of forces and moments in structure nodes, click Results Reactions Residual Forces.

• Residual Forces represent the sum of forces at individual structure nodes.
• Residual Moments represent the sum of moments at individual structure nodes.

Parameters and Visualization Options

Icon	Name	Description
	In LCS	Displays the forces in a local coordinate system. This is useful if the structure support is inclined for example.
	Linear	Displays diagrams for the supports.
	Descriptions	Displays the values of reactions, or residual forces, on the structure.
	Clear	Hides the reactions on the model.
	Show All	Displays all the reactions or residual forces on the model.
