ReCap Mesh Revit Integration

This section introduces the workflow for using ReCap mesh models in Revit through the RCMR format. This integration follows mesh classification and export in ReCap Pro and supports coordinated design workflows in Revit.

Through the ReCap Scan to Mesh workflow it is possible to export a unique file format (*.rcmr) that stores the segmented mesh model for use in Autodesk Revit, using features available as part of the ReCap Pro integration with Revit.

Note: ReCap Pro mesh features for Revit install with ReCap Pro (2026 and later). The features will install into Revit 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 versions. Use of these features requires a license of ReCap Pro. Click Get License if a license is not detected. Licenses can be managed with the Manage License features of Revit.
