Establish Desktop Connector Connectivity

ReCap Pro requires Autodesk Desktop Connector to publish projects to cloud-based solutions such as Forma Data Management or Autodesk Drive.

Installation Instruction

Download and install Desktop Connector.

Set up Mounted Drives

After installing and running Autodesk Desktop Connector, your mounted drives will be shown in Windows Explorer under Devices and drives.

If you don't see any mounted drives on your PC, please follow these steps:

1. Using your internet browser, log into Forma Data Management or Autodesk Drive. If using Autodesk Drive, the wizard will automatically setup the drive.
2. Right click on the Desktop Connector tray icon in the taskbar and click Refresh Drives in the menu.

Monitoring Upload Progress

When projects are published, you can check the upload progress by right clicking the Desktop Connector tray icon and selecting Pending Actions.

Next, open Forma Data Management or Autodesk Drive in your internet browser and navigate to the project location.
