Viewing a ReCap Project in a Browser

After projects have been published successfully, you can view the project through your browser using Forma Data Management and Autodesk Drive.

Viewing ReCap Project in Forma Data Management

  1. Go to Forma Data Management
  2. Navigate to the project location.
  3. Click on the Files tab on the left panel.
  4. Expand the Project Files.
  5. Navigate to the the project data.
  6. Click on the < projname >.rcp file.
  7. The project loads in the ReCap Viewer.
Note: If you have published your project using earlier ReCap version (versions before 23.0), you can use Publish > Update to reupload necessary files for Point Cloud Viewing. Alternatively, you can manually reupload .RCC and *.RCS files inside Support folder.

Viewing a ReCap Project in Autodesk Drive

  1. Go to Autodesk Drive.
  2. Navigate to the the published data.
  3. Click on the < projname >.rcp file.
  4. The project loads in the ReCap Viewer.
Note: Autodesk Drive only supports RealView viewer. In order to view 3D Point Cloud on the web, publish your project to Forma Data Management instead.
