| Updating the point cloud origin will not change the origin of any existing mesh models. It is recommended to delete any existing mesh models prior to any origin changes to mitigate any potential issues with mesh editor viewing. |
| Large point clouds with complex regions or edits may present performance issues during scan to mesh. Use the limit box to select a smaller region to run scan to mesh. |
| Large point clouds may not convert to a mesh using Scan to Mesh Local. The size limit depends on computer resources (for example, a 350GB point cloud may not process to scan to mesh on a 32GB machine). Use intelligent decimation to reduce the number of points, or export a subset of the point cloud to a new ReCap Project. |
| Points hidden from view using Clip Outside are still being included in the mesh creation processes. Use Regions, Classifications, or Limit Box to manage the points that will be included in the mesh. |
