Solvers are components provided by the Autodesk product that is using SCM. They perform the heavy computation of a solver Job and write results to disk. They also report Job-status back to the Worker. The internal workings of product solvers are outside the scope of the SCM threat model. For some job graph topologies, a solver can also be a client. SCM currently supports Solvers on Windows and Linux platforms
