This article describes how to upgrade Flow Production Tracking Enterprise Docker instances using the Enterprise Console.
Cluster - A set of servers composing a Flow Production Tracking instance.
Node - A single host within a cluster.
Flow Production Tracking Instance - Refers to your Flow Production Tracking site and all its components, e.g., “Flow Production Tracking.yourstudio.com”.
Flow Production Tracking Package - Package containing the Docker image for a given release of Flow Production Tracking.
SEC - Flow Production Tracking Enterprise Console.
Updating Flow Production Tracking is an operation that requires downtime. That operation must therefore be planned carefully.
The latest Flow Production Tracking packages are available from https://shotgrid.autodesk.com/ - learn more about downloading packages here. They must be downloaded and copied to the nodes on the cluster that will be running the respective containers.
The Flow Production Tracking Enterprise Console will guide Flow Production Tracking Administrators through the recommended update workflow. The steps are outlined inside SEC, under the Orchestration section for each cluster.
