Create widgets

  1. On the Widgets Panel, select the widget to create.
  2. Depending on the widget selected, enter the Size for the widget in the Options section.
  3. To attach scripts to the widget, use the Script field to include your widget handler script instead of the automatically generated handler script.

    If the file specified doesn't exist, the default user widget script is generated with that name.
  4. Double-click the widget to add it to the viewport.

    The widget is created at position (0,0) on the viewport with the corresponding Lua scripts and image resources in a widget type folder in the Assets panel.

    Tip : Alternatively, you can drag the widget to a desired position on the viewport.
