Getting Started with Autodesk Takeoff
Key Setup Tasks
To prepare a project for quantity takeoff, project administrators must complete a few essential setup tasks:
- Create or select a project
- Add team members to the project
- Configure takeoff settings for the project
Join a Project as a Team Member
If a project administrator adds you as a team member to a project, you'll receive an email invitation to join. Click Go to your project in the email to accept the invitation.
If you have Autodesk Build enabled, accepting the invite takes you to Project Home in Build.
Clicking into a project from the Project List brings you to Takeoff Home, the overview page for Autodesk Takeoff.
If you do not have Autodesk Build, accepting the project invite takes you to Autodesk Docs' Files tool. You can use the product picker drop-down from Docs to navigate to Autodesk Takeoff.
