Getting Started with Takeoff for Project Administrators

To prepare a project for quantity takeoff, project administrators must complete a few essential setup tasks:

1. Create or select a project
2. Add team members to the project
3. Configure takeoff settings for the project

Getting Started with Takeoff for Project Members

If you aren't a project administrator, a project administrator must add you as a member to a project. Once invited, you'll receive an email invitation to join.

To join the project from the email invitation:

1. Click Go to your project in the email to accept the invitation.

2. Use the product picker drop-down to navigate to Preconstruction. You may land in Forma Build or Forma Data Management depending on your access. You'll access the Takeoff tool in Preconstruction.
