Download a document or folder
Download a document to view it outside of Upchain. You may need to do this if the document is not viewable in Upchain’s PDF Viewer.
Note: Downloading a document downloads a read-only copy of the document to your local computer. If you want to make changes to the document, you need to check it out.
Download a document
- Click the chevrons (
) beside the category and folders until you locate the document you want to download. - Beside this document, click more actions (
). - Select Download from the drop-down menu.
- Depending on your browser, you can choose where to download the document to.
The latest version of the document is downloaded and available as a read-only document.
Download a folder
When you download a folder, you download its contents as well.
- Click the chevrons () beside the category and folders until you locate the folder you want to download.
- Beside the folder you want to download, click more actions ().
- Select Download from the drop-down menu.
- Depending on your browser, you can choose where to download the folder to.
Note: If the folder contains at least one document or subfolder, Upchain zips all documents together and downloads the zip document to your specified location. The zip document is named the same as your email address.
