Root check in

The Root Refresh function affects the Check in and Save functions. When you root refresh the cBOM, then right-click and choose Check in or Save , this performs a Root Check In:

• Only the parent item is checked in.
• No CAD Check in window is displayed; any new cBOM items are automatically pushed to the eBOM. Note that if the new cBOM items are not yet registered, root check in cannot proceed until all child items are registered.
• The eBOM is created based on the first level of existing children in the cBOM only. Any existing eBOM items remain untouched.
• Any existing edit locks for children are not affected. In other words, root checking in the parent does not check in the children.
