Change orders are associated with files or items, which are referred to as records.
Create a Change Order from the Change Orders List
- In the Vault mobile app, select the Change Orders (COs) tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the More icon
in the Change Orders list.
- Select Create Change Order.
The New CO window displays.
- Fill out the following fields:

for help with the field. For example, tapping the icon in the Change Order Number field displays options for automated numbering schemes.
- Change Order Number
- Change Order Title
- Detailed Description
- Due Date
- Routing
- Records
- Items records
- Attachments
- Select Create to create your change order.
Create a Change Order from a File or Item
- In the Vault mobile app, select the tab for the object type that you want to add to your change order (for example, Project Explorer for files) at the bottom of the screen.
- Locate and select an object to view its details.
- In the object details, select the More icon
.
- Select Add to CO.
- Select Record.
Note: If Record is not an option, the object is not a type that you are allowed to add to a change order.
- In the COs window, select New.
- Fill out the following fields:

- Select Create to create your change order. The change order includes the object selected as a record.
