The management folder allows the administrator to access log files from within the console based on log type: Console, Server, or Email. Each sub-tree lists the five most recent log files for that log group.
Access a Log File
- Select the Management node in the left panel of the main server console screen.
- Select the type of log that you will view from the nodes listed beneath Management.
- Select the log that you want to view from the list of the five most recent logs. The log will display in the right panel.
Search a Log File
Search for a word or phrase in any log file using the Search option.
- Enter a word or phrase into the Find field and click Next or Previous to cycle through the log. The target word or phrase is highlighed in the log file.
- Select the Match Case check box to confine the search to case sensitive matches.
Go To Source Folder
There are two ways to access the source folder for a specified log:
- Right-click on a Console Logs, Server Logs, or Email Logs node, or select a specific log file.
- Select Go To Folder from the pop-up menu. Windows Explorer will launch the source folder specified in the web.config file.
Show More Logs
- Right-click on a Console Logs, Server Logs, or Email Logs node.
- Select Show More from the pop-up menu. This will show five more logs under each node in the tree view in the left pane You can display up to fifteen logs under each log node.
Export Logs
- Select the Management node in the left pane then select the Console Logs, Server Logs, or Email Logs nod to display the logs available for that log type.
- Right-click on a log file and select Export from the pop-up menu. A Save As dialog launches and defaults to the My Documents directory.
- Navigate to the folder where you want to save the log and click Save to save the file.
