SQL Server Version Check

Detects whether the already installed SQL Server edition is compatible with the Autodesk Vault Server's SQL Server version requirements. The installer returns an error if it detects that an AutodeskVault instance of SQL Server is already installed on the machine and the instance is an incompatible version. For more information on compatible SQL versions see the SQL System Requirements on the Deployment Planning and Installation Requirements page.

Note: If you remove the SQL server based on the instructions below, you must cancel the server installation and start it again. Re-running prechecks and continuing with the installation may lead to a failed installation.
