You can download a copy of the Autodesk Vault 2013 and 2014 Help for local use when you are offline.
Note: If you are online, the help system will automatically default to the wiki. The local help is only for those situations where you must work offline.
The Vault 2013 and 2014 downloadable help files contain help for the following components:
- Vault Client
- Vault Add-ins
- Job Processor
- Autoloader
- Web Client
Note: The Web Client help is available by itself as well.
In addition, the Autodesk Data Management Server (ADMS) Console help is included for reference.

Download the Autodesk Vault 2014 Help
Follow the instructions below to download the Autodesk Vault 2014 Help.
- Download the zip file: Vault 2014 Help.zip.
The Vault 2014 Help.zip starts downloading.
- When the download is finished, open the downloaded zip file and save it to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\.
Note: Internet Explorer Users–If you download the zip file with Internet Explorer, underscores (_) are automatically inserted in the file name. Replace these with spaces so that the file name reads Vault 2014 Help.zip before you unzip the files.
- Unzip the files.
A new folder called Vault 2014 Help is created and the files are extracted to it.
Whenever you are offline, Autodesk Vault uses this local help instead of the on-line help.
You can also access the help directly by opening the C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault 2014 Help\index.html file.

The Vault 2014 Web Client Help.zip starts downloading.
- When the download is finished, save the zip file to a location where you can access it easily.
