Fixed Issues
Problems Reported Through the Customer Error Reporting Utility
As a result of the detailed information that we received from customers who used the Customer Error Reporting Utility, we were able to identify and fix several defects including the following:
| Piping |
| Application crashes when substituting to customized pipe supports. |
| Application crashes when assigning actuators to customized valves for specific scripts. |
General Update Content
The following defects have been fixed:
| Collaboration Workflow |
| Assignment of duplicated tags is now disabled after renaming or removal of the local cache project folder. |
| Project setting files can now be overwritten when saving Project Setup. |
| When setting the PLANTP360AUTOCHECKIN system variable to 1, any updated drawings are now automatically checked in after accepting all the changes during an import using Data Manager. |
| Isometrics |
| Iso annotation enclosures no longer revert after updating Project Setup. |
| All annotations in one block setting now works correctly in Iso drawings. |
| Application no longer crashes when removing all existing flange groups and then adding a new group in Project Setup. |
| The default scale of the Iso annotation enclosure has been adjusted to a more reasonable value when the Scale enclosures to fix text setting is selected in Project Setup. |
| LDT files are now loaded successfully. |
| Iso filename format is now updated after adding a new property. |
| Fixed-length pipes are now displayed with their dimensions when split in Iso drawings. |
| Cutback elbow annotations are now displayed when the BOM is split into fabrication and erection items. |
| Welds are now displayed correctly for slip-on flanges. |
| Orthographics |
| Referenced drawings from outside the project are now correctly displayed in ortho drawings. |
| Ortho views are now correctly updated when the orthocube is rotated. |
| P&ID |
| Customized symbols now display in the same style as the other symbols in the tool palettes. |
| Newly created off-page connectors now inherit symbol settings from their parent class. |
| Valve actuators now respect the P&ID painter settings. |
| P&ID objects no longer disappear when slines are broken or joined. |
| Control valve symbols remain consistent after updating Project Setup. |
| Equipment symbols remain unchanged after editing the symbol block in Project Setup. |
| P&ID object properties now remain consistent after editing symbol block in Project Setup. |
| Exporting to Excel using Data Manager now works as expected even when the display names of components exceed the maximum string length. |
| P&ID Modeler |
| Reducers are now correctly sized in the 3D model when placed from the P&ID linelist. |
| Eccentric reducers are now correctly placed in the 3D model from the P&ID linelist. |
| Inline annotations no longer appear in the P&ID linelist. |
| End types are correctly displayed in the 3D model when valves are placed from the P&ID linelist. |
| Duplicate nozzle tags no longer appear when placing existing nozzles from the P&ID linelist. |
| Equipment properties are correctly displayed when placed from the P&ID linelist. |
| Piping |
| Valve tags now appear in the 3D model when using PCF to Pipe. |
| Customized pipe supports now display in the substitution list. |
| Actuators can now be assigned to valves for specific scripts. |
| Actuator rotation angle values remain consistent when placing valves in projects with different units. |
| Elbow geometry in the 3D model now matches the Catalog, even when elbow legs have different lengths. |
| The New Project Autogeneration Property now works as expected. |
| All gaskets now display correctly after creating customized gaskets. |
| Project |
| The New DWG dialog box now correctly displays in Hi-PPI when multiple fields are created in the file name format from Project Setup. |
| Report Creator |
| Report creator migration now works as expected when installing earlier releases after installing the 2025 version. |
| Spec Editor |
| The Spec Editor application, when launched from the Project Manager, now matches the language version of Plant 3D. |
| The DataGridView error has been resolved when editing specific catalogs in the Spec Editor. |
| The Export to Excel function in the Catalog builder no longer freezes when editing port properties. |
| The Move Up and Move Down options in the right-click menu now work as expected for spec groups. |
| Structure |
| Hatch patterns now display correctly when creating plates. |
