Flow Retopology for 3ds Max version 1.0 Release Notes
Flow Retopology for 3ds Max version 1.0 introduces offloading retopology job processes using a job submission and job monitoring system for tracking jobs.
Flow Retopology is delivered as a standalone component that you can download from your Autodesk account.
Limitations
| Currently, there is no counter to let you know how many jobs you have used or are remaining. Keep track of your jobs to avoid reaching the 30 job monthly limit. |
| Currently, there is no automatic clean up for intermediate files. For example when using wedging, you can end up with multiple large .usd files on disk. You will have to manually clean up your files by navigating to the directory on your local drive. To locate this directory, you can navigate to File Details in the Flow Job Monitor. Deleting a job in the Flow Job Monitor will not delete the file, it only removes the job from the job monitor list. Navigate to your local directory to the location of your file to perform any necessary clean up. |
| There is no way to re-run or copy the settings from a previous job once submitted. You have to write down the settings of the job and to apply these same settings to a new job. Remember that any computing or completed job counts toward your total monthly limit of 30 jobs. |
