Highlights

Retopology Tools for 3ds Max v1.0 is a feature release for 3ds Max 2021.

  • Use the new Retopology Tools for 3ds Max to reconstruct problematic polygonal mesh data as clean quad-based topology with uncompromising accuracy.
  • Reduce complex and high-resolution assets, or to enhance generative designs and traditional modeling work inside of 3ds Max.
Note: Autodesk Retopology Tools for 3ds Max is a standalone component that must be downloaded and installed separately.
Known Issues and Limitations
Mesh cleaner fails to repair coincident vertices on faces with holes. MAXX-60974
QuadriFlow can cause a crash when processing zero area collinear face. MAXX-60977
