To Work With the AutoCAD Electrical Toolset Help

Online or Offline Help

The Help is not installed locally but is accessed online. You can download and install a local version of the Help.

1. Select the drop-down arrow on the Help icon in the upper right .
2. Click Download offline Help.
3. Download and install the Help.

To switch from using online Help to offline Help and back again:

1. Right-click the drawing area and choose Options from the context menu. As an alternative, you can enter options on the command line.
2. In the Options dialog box, System tab, under Help, click or clear the checkbox.

Access Help

Use any of the following methods to gain access to Help.

• Select the Help icon in the upper right to display the AutoCAD Electrical toolset help.
• Select the drop-down arrow on the Help icon to display a menu of help options.
• Select Help Help from the menu bar.
• Press F1 to open the help topic for the active command.
• In an open dialog box, press F1 or click Help to open the topic for the dialog box.
