How can I include a custom profile into a deployment?

If you don't have a custom profile .arg file already, follow these steps to create one. Along with other settings, search paths and template settings are stored in the custom profile.

Create a Custom Profile

1. Install AutoCAD on a machine.
2. Go into the AutoCAD Options > Files tab and select the desired settings.
3. In the Options > Profiles tab, name the profile.
4. In the Options > Profiles tab, "Export" the profile.
5. Save the profile as a .arg file. Make sure the location is shared on the network (users have full read/write) and save it to a shared location.

Create a Deployment

1. Create the online deployment (see Installation for administrators).
2. While creating the deployment, browse to the profile .arg file created.
