- Click
. Find - Select the objects and subobjects you want to move using the following methods:
- Press and hold Ctrl to select subobjects (faces, edges, and vertices).
- Release Ctrl to select entire objects.
Note: If a subobject filter is active, you do not need to press Ctrl to select a subobject. To select the entire object, turn off the filter. - When you have selected all objects, press Enter.
The Move gizmo is displayed at the center of the selected objects.
- Do one of the following:
- To move selected objects along a plane: Move the cursor over the planar rectangle that intersects the axis handles that define the plane of constraint. When the rectangle turns yellow, click it.
- To move selected objects along an axis: Move the cursor over an axis handle on the gizmo until it turns yellow and the vector is displayed. Then click the axis handle.
- To move the selection, drag and release, or enter a distance while holding the mouse button.
