To Work With Positioning the Command Window

Float the Command Window

• Double-click an empty space in dark gray bar on the left edge of the docked command window or drag the window away from the docking region.
  

Anchor a Command Window

• Drag the command window to the top or bottom of the drawing area until it is magnetically pulled toward the edge.

Dock the Command Window

• Click the move handle (the double row of dots) and drag the command window to the top or bottom edge of the application window. When the command window becomes the same width as the AutoCAD window, release the mouse button.

Resize the Command Window When it is Docked

1. Position the cursor over the horizontal splitter bar so that the cursor is displayed as a double line and arrows.
   
2. Drag the splitter bar vertically until the command window is the size you want it to be.
