At the Command prompt, do one of the following:
- Type layer. (Do not press Enter.)
  The command line suggestion list expands to include a layer category.
- Type the name, or part of the name, of the layer you want to make current. (Do not press Enter.)
  A layer that matches the letters you typed is displayed at the bottom of the list.
Expand the drop-down list if necessary to display more layer names.
Select a layer to make it current.
