You can extract geometric information from point locations on objects in a drawing.
The DIST command provides geometric information about the relationship between points, including
- The distance between them
- The angle between the points in the XY plane
- The angle of the points from the XY plane
- The delta, or changed, X, Y, and Z distances between them
Use the ID command to confirm the X, Y, and Z coordinates of a specified point.
