Edit a Block Tool in the Block Editor

1. If the Tool Palettes window is not open, click View tab Palettes panel Tool Palettes. At the Command prompt, enter TOOLPALETTES.
2. Right-click the block tool and select Block Editor.
   Note If the block definition for the tool on the palette is in another drawing, that drawing is opened in the Block Editor.
3. Edit the block and click Save Block.

Update a Block Tool Insertion After the Block Is Edited

• In the tool palette, right-click the block tool and select Redefine.

You can also delete the tool, and then replace it using DesignCenter ^™ .

Refresh the Image of a Block Tool

1. Save the drawing.
2. On a tool palette, right-click a tool and select Update Tool Image.

Update Path to Block Definition in a Tool

1. In the tool palette, right-click the block tool and select Properties.
2. In the Tool Properties dialog box, enter a new path in the Source File box.
