To Lock or Unlock a Layer by Selecting an Object

Click the Model tab.
Do either of the following:
- Click Home tab Layers panel Lock.At the Command prompt, enter laylck
- Click Home tab Layers panel Unlock.At the Command prompt, enter layulk
Select an object on the layer you want to lock or unlock.
