List of Prompts

The following prompts are displayed.

Enter choice (Report Formats)
Specifies which unit type to define. Enter a number to define the corresponding unit type.

1 = Scientific 1.55E+01

2 = Decimal 15.50

3 = Engineering 1'-3.50"

4 = Architectural 1'-3 1/2"

Specifies decimal precision. Enter a number from 0 to 8 to specify how many digits should be displayed to the right of the decimal point.

Denominator of smallest fraction to display
(Available for architectural or fractional formats)

Specifies fractional precision. Enter one of the following numbers to set the smallest fractional denominator to be displayed: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, or 256.

Enter choice (Systems of Angle Measure)
Specifies display of angles. Enter a number from 1 to 5 to indicate which system to use.

Fractional places for display of angles
Specifies fractional precision. Enter a number from 0 to 8.
Direction for angle 0
Specifies the direction of the angle 0. The default direction for 0 degrees is to the east quadrant, or 3 o'clock. Enter a number the corresponds to the direction you want to use. The format of this number depends on the system of angle measure you specified. You can also specify points to set the direction:

0 = East 3 o'clock

90 = North 12 o'clock

180 = West 9 o'clock

270 = South 6 o'clock
