- On the status bar, click the annotation monitor button:

The annotation monitor status bar button changes to 
, and the annotation monitor icon is added to the system tray:
To Turn off the Annotation Monitor
- To turn off the annotation monitor, click .
To Make the Annotation Monitor turn on for Model Documentation Events Only
NoteModel documentation is not available in AutoCAD LT and some AutoCAD-based products.
- On the command line, enter ANNOMONITOR.
- On the command line, enter -2.
The annotation monitor automatically turns on (ANNOMONITOR=2) as soon as a model documentation edit or update event occurs.
