To Turn Ribbon and Toolbar Tooltips On or Off

Use this method to turn on or turn off the tooltips that are displayed when the cursor is over a button on a ribbon or toolbar.

1. Click Application button Options.
2. In the Options dialog box, Display tab, under Window Elements, click Show Tooltips.
