To Filter the List of Layers by Layer Properties

Product Documentation
Intermediate

  1. Click Home tab Layers panel Layer Properties
  2. In the Layer Properties Manager, click the New Property Filter button.
  3. In the Layer Filter Properties dialog box, enter a name for the filter.
  4. Under Filter Definition, specify the layer properties as follows:
    • To filter by the layer name, enter text along with wild-card characters such as * under the Name column.
    • To filter by a property, click in the column for the property, and choose a setting.
    • To filter using multiple properties, click each property in a single row in the filter definition.
    • To filter using more than one value for a property, right-click the row in the filter definition. Click Duplicate Row. Select another value for that property in the next row.
NoteThe settings in a single row represent a logical AND, while the settings in multiple rows represent a logical OR. For example, the definition for a filter that displays only layers that are On and are either Yellow or Red requires two rows. The first row of the filter definition displays the On icon and the Red color. The second row displays the On icon and the Yellow color.
