You can use search to find and insert any block definition that is already contained in the drawing.
- At the Command prompt, do one of the following:
- Type block. (Do not press Enter.)
The command line suggestion list expands to include a block category.
- Type the name, or part of the name, of the block you want to insert. (Do not press Enter.)
A block that matches the letters you typed is displayed at the bottom of the list.
- Type block. (Do not press Enter.)
- Expand the drop-down list if necessary to display more available blocks. Hover over the items on the list to see a thumbnail preview.
- Select a block to insert.
- Follow the prompts to insert the block.
