A named page setup specifies settings such as the plot area, paper size, and scale, which determine the appearance of a plotted or published output.
Note: Instead of creating a named page setup from scratch, you can import a named page setup from a drawing that is properly setup for plotting or publishing.

- In the Page Setup Manager, Page Setups area, click New.
- In the New Page Setup dialog box, enter a name for the new page setup.
- Under Start With, select a page setup close to the settings you want, and click OK.
- In the Page Setup dialog box change settings as required:
- In the Printer/Plotter section, specify the default plotter to use while plotting or publishing.
- In the Paper Size list, select the default paper size to use for plotting or publishing.
- In the Plot Area section, specify which area of the drawing to plot.
- In the Plot Scale box, specify the scale to use.
Note: If you select Layout as the Plot Area, the layout is plotted at 1:1 scale, regardless of the plot scale you specify.
- In the Drawing Orientation section, set the orientation.
Note: To rotate the drawing by 180 degrees, select Plot Upside-Down.
- Click OK.
The new page setup is displayed in the Page Setups list in the Page Setup Manager.
