Click Home tabSolid Editing panelFace Editing drop-downDelete Faces.At the Command prompt, enter SOLIDEDIT. Then enter f (Face) and d (Delete).
Select the face to delete. (It must be surrounded by faces that share the same plane.)
Select additional faces or press Enter to delete.
Press Enter to complete the command.
