Converts raw data from a 3D scan file into a PCG or ISD point cloud format that can be attached to a drawing.
Summary
You can create a point cloud file from scan files created by a LIDAR scanner (LAS file) or smaller 3D scanners.

Create Autodesk Point Cloud (.pcg)

Creates Autodesk point cloud (PCG) files from scan files.
You can specify whether the following information is retained with the point cloud.
- RGB. Imports RGB color model values for points in the scan file.
- Intensity. Imports color intensity values for points in the scan file. The values are expressed as a percentage and range from 0.0 to 1.0.
- Normals. Imports any point normals for the cloud points.
- Custom attributes. Imports information to help classify point cloud components, such as ground, low or medium vegetation, water, and overlap points.
Information is imported only if it is available in the scan file.
