To Load Additional Geometry into a Partially Open Drawing

Load more layers or geometry within a partially opened drawing.

1. Click File menuPartial Load.At the Command prompt, enter PARTIALOAD.
   Note The Partial Load option is available only if the current drawing is a partially open drawing.
2. In the Partial Load dialog box, select a view, or click Pick A Window to define a view.
3. Select one or more layers and click Open.

   All drawing layers exist in the drawing whether layer geometry is loaded or not.

   If you draw objects on a layer that is not loaded, you may be drawing on top of existing geometry.
